Are you taking care of yourself?
|
Maybe it’s time for you to:
- Make yourself a priority instead of focusing on other people in your life
- Listen to your body that might be telling you it’s time to make a positive change
- Fill up your own cup so you can do more of the things that give you joy
- Finally feel good and stop stressing about what to do to improve your health and wellness
Hi! I'm Dana, yoga teacher, wellness coach, holistic nutritionist, wife, and mother.
Since 2020, I've been teaching women over 45 how to reduce their stress, calm their minds, and take care of their bodies. I help my clients come back to themselves with simple holistic wellness and nutrition practices so they feel centered, rejuvenated, and strong—able to fully be there for the people they love.
Because sometimes even making positive changes in our lives can seem overwhelming. Working with me, you'll get a gentle and easy approach to reach your health and wellness goals. I want you to have the strength and energy to go out into the world and show everyone what you're made of because you have a gift we all need! |
"I was feeling very frustrated and stressed out due to a lot of changes going on in my life. Dana was very encouraging with gentle reminders about not being too hard on myself if I didn't meet the daily/weekly goals. I learned that I don't have to do it all, that I have choices, and if I only accomplish one thing that's definitely okay, versus beating myself up as a failure. I can always start over too. I don't have to do it perfectly either which is big for me."

"After my MS diagnosis, I wanted to work on a better diet, a less stressful life, and a good exercise program. Dana really listened to what I needed, and she did not push anything on me. She saw what was working for me and what was not and provided great suggestions that helped me deal with my stress and nutrition. By using the meditation tools she shared with me, yoga techniques, and a good diet, I feel like my MS symptoms have gotten a lot better. I am super excited about maintaining these healthy habits that are absolutely working for me."

"Dana provided a wonderfully, gentle approach to increasing my awareness of stress, effects of stress, and my need for self care. I became aware that I never sit still, and that I need to create intention to care for myself. She gave me opportunities to try new foods, new ways to relax, and encouragement to create a manageable and gentle exercise routine."

FAQs
Is wellness coaching the same as therapy?
Wellness coaching is different than therapy in in that I will not diagnose you. Only a licensed therapist or doctor can diagnose a mental health disorder or illness. I am not a licensed medical professional and our relationship, should we work together, is in no way to be construed as psychotherapy, psychological counseling, or any type of therapy.
Is wellness coaching covered by my medical insurance?
The wellness coaching I provide is an out of pocket expense similar to a gym membership or a massage. Wellness coaching is not traditionally covered by medical insurance providers.

What if I change my mind?
My number one priority as a wellness coach is to get you the results you want. But a healthy lifestyle change takes time so I ask that you give it at least two full weeks. If at the end of two weeks from the time we start working together you change your mind, I will issue you a full refund. Keep in mind that no refunds are given if you change your mind after two weeks. |
